A Step of Faith!

One of the things I admire about God is the fact that he has equipped us with everything we need to make it through in this life. We often ignore some of the resources we have been equipped with, and rarely think they can be of any use to us in life. Everything we need to make it big and significantly in this life is within our reach. The scriptural story of the four lepers who were begging outside the gate of Samaria is one that shows there is no one that God cannot use. These lepers were outcasts thrown out of the city and lived their lives spectating the men and women who were privileged enough to get in and out of the city. Nobody thought about them and it was like with leprosy, God had also overlooked them. To them life was one big misery. Someone said that they risk most those who have given up hope! When hunger drove them to make a decision, they decided to go to the enemy’s camp and die there instead of dying in shame where they were. Life pushed these lepers to a point they made a bet with their lives. Those who risk to the unknown reach out to the God of the unknown. With every weak move they made, God amplified their weak and insignificant steps to an extent that they caused a whole enemy army to flee. They were not military men, but weak lepers who risked in God with their lives and God used them to change the situation. Where is God asking you to make a move of faith even in your weakness? Where could you risk in God and bring great salvation to your family? What move can you make today as you exercise faith in God and change your story? If you see God driving you to a corner, it’s because there are some inner potential that He wants you to reach out to. These lepers became the new millionnaires in Samaria because they took a risk of faith in God. Don’t get used to your pain, step out and reach out! There is a God out there to hold you!
