Greatest human fears stems from the unknown. The comfort and allure of the known lies to us that better the devil we know than the angel we don’t known. The problem with this is that we miss out so much on what we are not willing to try out because we allow fear to hold us back. The opposite of fear is faith which boldly steps to the unknown knowing very well that without faith you cannot please God. God operates best in the realms of the unknown and faith pioneers these uncharted territories. The scriptural account of Jesus death is a perfect example. Despite persuasion from his followers who didn’t understand the significant of his mission, Jesus faced the cross and its its associated shame and ridicule. He defied fear and got where none of humanity would have dared. His death invaded the terrifying waters of death thus defeating death and ushering Resurrection. What have you been willing to try out but fear is holding you captive? Walk boldly out there, there is a God who operates best in the realms of the unknown!
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” John 12:24 NKJV
