It’s every human desire to leave a mark in the universe one way all another. Dreaming starts early in life and every child will loudly sing what they desire to become when they grow up. The road to realizing one’s dream is never a straight path. It has many obstacles and road blocks that one must surmount if they are to see their dreams fulfillment. The story of Joseph and his dreams in the Scriptures is a good example. Joseph dreamt and shared his dreams with lots of enthusiasm. He saw himself up there but soon realized that the journey was not to be as straight as he would have wished. Instead of starting a climb up there, Joseph took an unexpected path downwards. It was not the throne of worship that came knocking after the dreams but the pit of despair. Joseph soon realized that life demands we interpret the dreams of others before our very own can be interpreted. What dream did you once have that’s now forgotten? How different is your life today from your once cherished dreams? Dreamers know that everything that God lines their path after a dream; the pit, the jail and even being forgotten is part of God’s programmed path towards achievement of their dream. Don’t abort your dreams as the dream giver works best when the odds are against you!
