Many times we are often tempted to pursue the major things of life at the expense of small details. We often fail to appreciate that life is lived in the small details that we encounter on a day to day basis. We like being occupied by big words such as destiny and purpose and fail to remember we serve a God who encourages us to ask for the daily bread. It is okay to be concerned with the big things of life but the truth is God meets with us in the small mundane tasks of day to day living. When we fail to take care of the small details in our lives, they sink the big ships of our lives. Abraham was a man of great faith but he failed in the smallest details of protecting the integrity of his own wife and lying about her. David was a man after God’s own heart but he failed in taking care of the affairs of his own family causing him untold pain. What are the small issues that you are neglecting in your life? Are you sacrificing time with your children or spouse in the altar of a busy job? Are you sacrificing time with your family in the altar of your ministry? Let’s chase the devil down there in the smallest details of our lives!
