High rise buildings are coming up all over the country as developers continue to compete on who will build the highest building. Others have shifted focus from heights to designs and all manner of commercial building designs are coming up. In the midst of all these high rise buildings, there is the use of reinforced concrete. Reinforced concrete integrates concrete and steel. A high rise building has more than concrete on it, it has a lot of metal in it for stability. This reminds me of how God works in the life of believers. On our own we are frail and weak and prone to fall at the slightest test. But the scriptures says that God is within us. There is more to us beyond what people can see with the physical eyes. There is a God who reinforces us and strengthens us. We can go high and accomplish more than we can do on our own. We can survive the storms and tempests of life when they come. We can survive difficult seasons that life throws at us because God is within us and makes the difference for us. Where are you fearing that you may crumble because the tests are fierce and much? Where are you wondering how you will make it through a season? How are you wondering how you will withstand some tests? Beyond you, there is God’s everlasting hand that is supporting you. You are not just a piece of clay, there is God’s unimaginable strength supporting you. That’s why you cannot fail!
