It is not always that we are able to know the express will of God, but there are conditions that help us know when we are on course and when we have drifted. The scriptures call Jesus the Prince of Peace! The presence or absence of Inner peace is therefore a major indicator of God’s involvement in our lives. God is not the author of confusion and if you are in a situation that is unsettled, ask yourself who has taken over the drivers seat. When God is the captain He gives us a settled assurance and we can afford to be calm irrespective of how stormy it might appear to be. He is not a bumpy driver but the Shepherd who leads us beside quite waters. He is always calm irrespective of the condition of the road. Are you feeing unsettled or confused regarding a decision? Are you feeling uncomfortable in that relationship? Are you sensing deep within that you are all alone in this and God is not steering the ship? Take time and catch up with Him! The journey might be temptingly exciting but confusion is never a good sign. Wait for the white flag! You’ll need the Captain when the storms arrive!!
“When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their desire, putting out to sea, they sailed close by Crete. But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon.” Acts 27:13-14 NKJV
